Steve Mattingly, DMD
Dr. Mattingly was born in Louisville, Kentucky and attended St. Xavier High School. He attended the University of Kentucky majoring in architecture, earning his dental degree in 1987. He has been in private practice since 1988. He
is married to Richmond, Kentucky native Kathy Park. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and the Blue Grass Dental Society. He attends numerous continuing education seminars to stay at the
forefront of his profession. These include cosmetic, implant and complex restorative cases. Whether you are maintaining a healthy mouth or restoring a complex dental situation Dr. Mattingly is well versed, and able to help you
achieve a healthy, functional and beautiful mouth.
Amy Courtwright
Amy has been part of our winning team since 1999. She began her career as a Dental Assistant and Front Office person in her home state of Louisiana in 1990. She completed her Expanded Duties Certification at The University of
Florida while residing in Key West, FL. Amy divides her time between the front office handling insurance claims, scheduling appointments and other administrative duties and as an experienced dental assistant in one of our state of
the art operatories. Amy is always ready to assist our patients with any of their concerns or needs. You can always count on being greeted with a friendly smile.
Kathy
Hi! My name is Kathy,
I previously worked as an orthodontic assistant in Richmond, Kentucky for 22 years before making a career change to Dr. Mattingly’s office as a dental receptionist.
My husband and I enjoy riding motorcycles as well as spending time with our family and friends. We love animals…especially our two kitty cats!
When I am not greeting our wonderful patients at the front desk, you may see me out for a nice hike or a ride on my motorcycle.
Pam Ingram
Hi! I’m Pam Ingram and you’ll find me at Dr. Mattingly’s office when you come in to get your teeth cleaned and checked. I have been a Dental Hygienist since 1990 when I graduated from Lexington Community College. Over the years I have worked in other offices in Berea, Lexington and Somerset. I have been working at Dr. Mattingly’s office since 1997. I grew up in Marion, Indiana but have lived in the Berea area since 1992 and currently reside in Estill County. I married my high school sweetheart, Darrell, in 1975 and we have two sons, Dalon and Dustin, and four grandkids. When I am not seeing patients in the office you may find me with my grandkids, at church or out for a hike.
The most rewarding aspect of being a hygienist is not just helping people keep their teeth healthy, but about getting to know our wonderful patients and cultivating those relationships over the years.
I appreciate working for Dr. Mattingly, who not only does the best dental work possible but who also treats each patient as he would his own family member. We appreciate each patient who comes to our office and we all strive to make each visit a pleasant experience.

My name is Brittany. I am a dental hygienist and I have been with Dr. Mattingly since January 2021. I graduated in 2018 and continue to attend many courses to stay current with my profession. I aspire to provide our patients with optimum care while providing a positive and comfortable dental experience.

Martha Brown
I’m Martha Brown. I was born and raised in Lebanon, Kentucky. I moved to Richmond in 1976 and have worked in dentistry since 1982. I have been a dental assistant at Dr. Mattingly’s office since 1989. My favorite thing about working here is the staff and the patients, some of whom have become great friends. I am single and have two dogs and four cats. On a pretty day you will find me working in my yard, which gives me great enjoyment. I love what I do and hope to be here until retirement.
Kendra Chaney
Hi! I’m Kendra. I have had the pleasure of being a part of this dental office since 2016. My main focus as Dr. Mattingly’s assistant is making sure patients are comfortable. I married my high school sweetheart and we have three wonderful kids together. If you cannot find me at Dr. Mattingly’s you can find me cheering on my kiddos at either a baseball tournament, cheer competition, softball game or chasing after a wild boy. We have the best patients, the most fun, and of course, top notch dental care. Having a family at work makes me love coming in everyday. It’s not work if you love what you do.
